His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Orchestrated a terrifying series of tortures towards his bullies along with his friends with the intent to give them all fates worse then death.
- When the torture session first started, Dane faux affably allowed one of the bullies to escape after revealing he cheated on his girlfriend, just so the guy would get himself caught in a bear trap and be brought back anyway.
- Gave one of his friends, Ravi a liquid that paralyzed Bernard with Bernard convulsing violently and Emily then sticking needles inside of him to torture him.
- Even though Kurtis was not one of his bullies, Dane still tried to kill him when he attempted to escape. When Ravi stops him from doing it, telling Dane that Kurtis never bullied them and stood up for them, Dane pinned him to the ground and drove a knife through his throat, horrifying all of his friends, but Dane showed no remorse regardless.
- Allowed his friend Emily to rub a corrosive compound all over her bully, Heathers face, with it eventually painfully and slowly eating at her flesh when Emily told her to cut off one of her friends fingers if she wanted it to come off but refuses.
- Allows Emily and the other outcasts to strap one of the bullies, Bridget into a chair so they can prove that one of the other bullies named Bradley will hurt someone to save his life by cutting some of her fingers off. It works and Dane remarks to Bradley that "he knew he could hurt someone to save his own skin"
- After offering Bridget the chance to end the torture if she inflicts it on Bradley himself, Dane asks Emily to rub the corrosive compound on her face to give her motivation. Bridget still can't bring herself to cut Bradley's fingers off and the compound then slowly and painfully eats at her flesh.
- Sadistically acts faux affable with Bradley before mocking him about how he will never be able to play football again and will never be able to have sex again, before severing his spinal cord and paralyzing him forever.
- After Riggs insults them all, Dane tells the others that he is their next victim with him then ordering them to cut off his tongue with Riggs only being saved thanks to Kurtis coming in with a gun and saving him by killing Andy with a headshot. Dane then attempts to kill Kurtis again, but Emily finishes him off, finally being fed up of Dane hurting his friends.
- Despite dying, Dane successfully affected his bullies lives in severely negative ways, with it being strongly implied that Kelly took her own life out of the sheer trauma caused by the incident, Bridget is forever seen as a weirdo due to the scars on her face and everyone else either being severely crippled or paralyzed permanently.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Despite his crimes making him far worse then most of his bullies ever were, Dane is still shown to be affected by his terrible home life, even almost killing himself because he couldn't take how awful his life was anymore, and since him getting bullied is his main motivation, it is enough to make him minor tragic and he and his friends didn't care whether they lived or died anymore, since they wanted to escape their suffering in some way.
