His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Intended on bringing the apocalypse/ending the world and enslaving all life on earth and torturing them for all of eternity
- Before the series, he gave Destroyah and Gojira special powers that made them invincible, resulting in them attacking humanity several times, all while informing the latter that he would serve as a demon in his army once he died.
- This would later lead to the creation of Jet Jaguar, Jet Panther, and the Jaguar X, all of whom were made to combat Gojira and Godzilla, culminating in the Godzilla Vs Jet Jaguar arc where Jet temporarily fought him despite the fact they were friends
- While Gojira was recovering from nearly getting killed by the oxygen destroyer, he warned him that his time was near and that he would have to prepare for his eventual return Because of this, he’s directly responsible for all the crimes he committed under his advisory in seasons 2 and 5. (i;e gathering all the bad monsters and having them imprison the monster island buddies, setting a bomb to Mecha-King Ghidorah so that it would explode and kill all the monsters including the bad ones, attempting to break the truce between the divine moths and the Ghidorahs with his son Godzilla to cause an all-out war and empower Cthulhu).
- Additionally, because of how terrible his rule was going to be, he indirectly inspired Gojira to try to destroy space and time behind his back, specifically by having the bad monsters kidnap the past version of Godzilla and having him killed to cause a space-time paradox, not only as a desperate attempt to escape his end of the deal but also to prevent everyone from suffering a fate worse than death from his tyrannical rule. When discussing with his son in Season 8, he stated that not existing would be way better than living under Cthullu’s rule and being tortured by him for all eternity. When Cthulhu eventually learns about this, he expresses no remorse and instead expresses anger at Gojira’s failed sabotage.
- Because Gojira had MKG detonate Monster Island, Rodan was forced to sacrifice himself, resulting in him becoming Fire Rodan. However, this form was too powerful and he later temporarily caused Mothra’s death when he attacked Godzilla in a fit of rage. To make matters worse, this act also led to his energy being transferred into Godzilla making him go into meltdown mode and temporarily die for the first time in the season 4 finale.

- In episode 81, he tormented Gamera in his nightmares by taunting him of his plans to bring the apocalypse
- Upon being empowered by the constant chaos of the Monster Island war, he immediately began unleashing hordes of demons on Earth (including Monster Island) and having them go on rampages causing lots of destruction
- In response to Gojira’s secretly trying to warn the monster island buddies of his upcoming arrival and trying to back out of his deal, he painfully brainwashed him into servitude a had him attack the monster island buddies, resulting in him killing Kamacuras and Kumonga and later temporarily his son Godzilla (before he was revived by the Space-Time Pair of Ducks).
- Because of his actions in the final three episodes, he temporarily forced the Monster Island buddies into time-traveling back to the beginning of the series killing their past selves and causing the space-time paradox out of desperation, however unlike Gojira, here they temporarily succeeded before the space-time pair of ducks reset their universe back to normal.
- In the final battle in episode 100, he revived several past villains (i;e Grand King Ghidorah, Keizer Ghidorah, Cloverfield, etc) to help him and Destoroyah kill all the monster island buddies.
- At the last second, he attempted to Kill Godzilla to become the new king of the monsters and exterminate every Kaiju on the planet, but not before Lord Blundergosh arrived to sober up and banished him back to hell.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He genuinely gets along with Destoroyah.
- He can be somewhat honorable in that he usually stays true to his agreements/deals.
Trivia[]
- He is, alongside Grand King Ghidorah, the only Monster Island Buddies villains to be Near Pure Evil.

- Godzilla and Cthulhu would later officially meet and fight each other in “Godzilla vs. Cthulhu: A Death May Die Story" in 2024.
- Ironically that version of Cthulhu is Inconsistently Heinous.
