~ Creek justifying his betrayal to Poppy and the other Trolls. |
Creek is the secondary antagonist of DreamWorks Animation's 33rd feature-length animated film titled Trolls.
He is part of the film's titular species, being a close friend of Poppy. However, later on in the film, Creek betrays his race and sides with Chef in order to save himself from being eaten.
He was voiced by Russell Brand.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He showed signs of selfishness and hostile behavior even before his betrayal such as openly mocking Branch over his fears about the Bergens coming to attack the Trolls.
- He helps Chef in kidnapping all of his former friends so they can be fed to the Bergens.
- He stole Poppy's cowbell and used it to trick the other Trolls into revealing themselves so that they get captured as well.
- His excuse for his actions ultimately doesn’t hold up. Though he did what he did to save himself from being eaten, he was willing to betray his entire race and leave them to die just to ensure that he wouldn’t, making him more of a coward.
- Although it could be argued that he fails the Heinous Standards, as getting Trolls killed is standard due to Bergens and other creatures wanting to eat them constantly, he still stands out because he turns against his own species, something even the Bergens don’t even think of. Because of this, he manages to exceed them with less resources.
- While he was willing to side with Chef, it was only to preserve himself as he seems to be doing it for his own sake.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He has some comedic moments, such as when he outright tells Poppy he's selling her and the other trolls out to save himself only to immediately be strangled by her. He also has a somewhat amusing defeat where he and Chef are sent tumbling down a flight of stairs on a tray before being eaten by a hill monster.
Trivia[]
- Only the film version of him is Near Pure Evil, since in the television series Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, he mentions that he is regretful for his previous actions and becomes a much better Troll.
- He is one of the few Near Pure Evils to have a page on the Heroes Wiki.
