~ Count Dracula to Jonathan Harker.

Count Dracula is the main antagonist of the 1979 horror film Nosferatu the Vampyre, a loose adaptation of the 1922 film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror, and its loose 1988 supernatural horror sequel Vampire in Venice. He is a vampire who seeks to destroy as many human life as he can.

He was portrayed by the late Klaus Kinski.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He was responsible for the brainwashing of Renfield, utterly destroying his sanity. He didn't treat him well either, treating him like a dog, and it is heavily implied he abused him many times.
  • Spread the Black Death plague across Europe, killing millions of innocent people. He even says he has done this many times.
  • His love for Lucy is only perversion, he is obsessed with her. He even tortured her by fingering her before proceeding to drain her of her blood, which killed her.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • Deep down inside, he is a tragic figure, He is weary and tired of being immortal, wanting to live a mortal life, and yearns for human love that he never has, implying that he has at least some care for Lucy.
  • He is genuinely honorable towards Jonathan Harker

Trivia[]

  • Dracula has major differences with his original counterpart Count Orlok. Count Dracula is attracted to Lucy, and also obsessed with her, while Orlok doesn`t care for Ellen at all and is just obsessed with her neck. Dracula wants to yearn for human love and wants to not live an immortal life, while Orlok enjoys the crimes he inflicted and his life. Therefore, Count Dracula is Near Pure Evil while Count Orlok is Pure Evil.
