Ahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!! Greetings, puny Earthlings! I am Commander Hypaxxus-8, but you can call me your new Supreme Overlord. My fleet of flying saucers has come to your world for just one thing: brainpower! And once we’ve sucked your brains dry to power our galactic batteries, there will be nothing to stop us from conquering the entire Earth! My plans are brilliant! My forces are unstoppable!! My spaceship is really, really big!!! Total victory will soon be mine!!!!
~ Hypaxxus-8's message to Earth.

Commander Hypaxxus-8 is the main antagonist of the LEGO Alien Conquest toyline, and the overarching antagonist of LEGO Atlantis and LEGO Pharaoh's Quest. He is the leader of an alien army that invaded the Earth to steal humans' brainpower for their galactic batteries.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • Even before his invasion, he was responsible for the actions of villains from several other LEGO toylines, as his forces armed Atlantis Guardians and helped Amset-Ra build his artifacts.
  • After invading the Earth in earnest, he abducted multiple humans and had their brainpower extracted. Said process isn't Fridge Horror, as the victims were shown to be in pain as it happened, and the one person who's seen after having gone through the entire extraction process appears traumatized by the ordeal, with a strong implication that it had a negative effect on his mental health.
    • Since the Alien Android's profile has him calculate the efficiency of humankind's combined brainpower, it's highly likely that Hypaxxus-8's plan involved sucking out every human's brainpower this way.
  • Despite praising his minions' skills, he doesn't seem to truly care for them, as he rudely smacks one during his message to the ADU leadership, and only speaks about how he will benefit from the invasion.
  • While he has a pet Brain-Beast who he considers cute, it's not enough of an indication that he cares for his well-being.
  • Although it's heavily implied both by the web game "Invasion from the Planet X2½" and Alien Villainess' minifigure description that he serves someone else, it doesn't mean that he fails the Heinous Standards, as it's not stated if brainpower extraction was done under his superior's orders or his own.
  • He abducted and brainwashed the guardian of Atlantis, the Golden King, to make him assist his plans alongside Amset-Ra.
  • After being defeated for good, he unleashed dinosaurs upon the Earth as one last trick up his sleeve.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • Although he is taken more seriously than most LEGO villains, he still has a number of detracting comedic moments. They include his habit of long maniacal laughs, with one reportedly lasting a few minutes, referring to his spaceship as "really, really big" and himself as "the greatest, bestest, coolest leader in the galaxy", and having brainpower extracted from not only humans, but a cow and a phone booth as well.
