Clouse is a major antagonist in LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu.
He is a dark sorcerer who used to serve as Master Chen's right-hand man.
He is voiced by Scott McNeil.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
In General[]
- While he did seem loyal to Chen, even putting up with his shenanigans, given that he ended up escaping the Cursed Realm without him, his loyalty to Chen was most likely not genuine, but rather out of either fanaticism and/or the position of power he got from it.
- Unlike most of the villains in the series, including Master Chen himself, he is played completely seriously by the narrative and has absolutely no comedic moments at all, darkening the tone of the series with his presence.
- While Ninjago has high heinous standards, he manages to stand out due to attempting mass omnicide in the sixteen realms, with less resources than villains such as The Overlord, feeding hundreds of people to the Anacondrai Serpent and his personal villainy towards Garmadon.
Background[]
- While he was younger he displayed a sense of honor as he refused to cheat when Garmadon did, he lost this honorable side after Chen told him to win at all costs. Ironically, while Clouse would keep corrupting himself, Garmadon would do the opposite and become more honorable.
- Although it is shown that he is also a coward such as when he used dark magic to make the training room come to life, something he didn't subvert later on before he was banished to the Cursed Realm, showing that losing to Garmadon at the time was mostly a sore loser moment than actually a sense of honor.
- He helped Chen in his deception during the Serpentine War, even using hypnosis on Cole's Grandfather in order for him to turn against the Elemental Alliance, so The Serpentine will win the war.
- He and Chen fed hundreds of innocent prisoners to the Anacondrai Serpent, as shown by the hundreds of skeletons present in its lair.
Tournament of Elements[]
- He threw Jay's nunchuks in the ocean, simply for bringing them to the Tournament of Elements where weapons are not allowed, even though there were better ways of dealing with this.
- He showed no remorse when of the Anacondrai Cultists was thrown in the ocean by Garmadon for not having enough space for him to come on the ship.
- He attempted to use dark magic on Lloyd so that he would be eliminated first.
- He also attempted to do the same to Kai only to be stopped by Chen.
- He later tried to use dark magic to stop Lloyd from winning the skating game.
- He refused to give Garmadon a bedroom out of pure spite.
- He informed Chen about The Elemental Master's alliance which resulted in Chen destroying the alliance, so their plan would not be foiled.
- He chased Nya and fought her on the roofhouse so she would not escape with the spell.
- He caught and imprisoned all of the remaining Elemental Masters for his and Chen's plans.
- He fought Jay, using a giant stone mech made with dark magic.
- He tried to feed Nya and Garmadon to the Anacondrai Serpent.
- He read the spell in order to transform Chen, himself and the Anacondrai Cultist into Anacondrai.
- After Chen's staff was destroyed, he was the one who told Chen that Skylor could help them complete the Anacondrai spell because she absorbed all the masters powers making him indirectly responsible for Chen torturing his daughter to complete the spell.
- He tried to sabotage Cole's Rotojet.
- He taunted Garmadon about how his son would have to live without him.
- He tried to open a portal to the Cursed Realm and toss Garmadon inside.
The Realm of Shadows[]
- He attempted to corrupt the Yang Dragon Bandit to his side.
Skybound[]
- He freed the djinn Nadakhan, leading to the events of Skybound and making himself indirectly responsible for the major trauma suffered by Jay and Nya.
- When Jay entered the Sword of Souls, he tried to prevent him from escaping, which would have left him trapped in a fate worse than death for all eternity.
The Dark Island Trilogy[]
- He forced the Sky Pirates to join in his plan to corrupt the Temple of Light, by threatening to send them back in the realms from where he summoned them.
- He attempted to corrupt the Temple of Light, which would lead to absolute chaos. This was something that even Chen would have never considered as Chen only wanted to take over Ninjago.
- He rejected redemption, when Wu offered him a chance to make up for his errors.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He genuinely cared about the Anacondrai Serpent, as he grieved over its death and vowed vengeance for it and was infuriated when Chen called it "just a big snake".
Trivia[]
- In the could-be-canon "Way of the Departed" web novel, it is stated that he used a spell on the Time Twins which lead them to betray the Elemental Alliance, as well as him assuming control over the Skulkin Army. If this was canon, it would make him even worse than his canon counterpart as he and Chen would be indirectly responsible for the events of Season 7, including Wu being forced to temporally sacrifice himself to stop the Hands of Time.
