Cliché is the overarching antagonist of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEAKI Memories mobile game.

In General[]
- Unlike a majority of the villains of the series who are Grey Zone, Extremely Tragic, are Anti-Villains who are well intended Extremists or have too many redeeming qualities to quality as an Near Pure Evil, she lacks all of those issues overall.
- Since the mobile game is an separate continuity it has a much lower heinous standard than the main series meaning she doesn't need to compete with Feldway nor the Eastern Empire, even then she would stand out for her attempted kill count with her much lower resources.
- Despite her goal to get rid of catastrophe level threats in the world, this doesn't make her an anti-villain as she isn't doing it for selfless reasons as so she is doing it can live in safely meaning it is for selfish reasons.
- While some of her crimes are not shown on screen or in flashbacks they are mentioned in the game’s cutscenes dialogue due to it being an limited budget of a mobile game that would make animation too expensive to do for everything which can be very excusable, the story narration's dialogue plus the cutscenes has enough details on them (akin similar to a visual novel) to not make them rely on offscreen villainy as they are detailed by the narrator in the cut scenes, animations, and/or the onscreen effects & consequences of them is enough to save them from completely relying on fridge-horror.
- While she has some comedic moments they show how much of an sadist she is or played for satisfaction for her crimes so they don't detract her as an threat.
What Makes Her Close To Being Pure Evil?[]
- She tortured two assassins who attempted to claim her life by making them move her luggage despite her doing it easily and once they found out, she killed them with a teleportation ability out of sheer sadism.
- She only helped 7 Witches to create an Dream Machine for immortality as she only did it out of amusement and showed no remorse for their deaths; She laughed as three of then died from the shock of her work, one to dancing too much, and the remaining. three being slaughtered by their own reflections. She did it by sacrificing 3 Demon Lord Seeds to do so to create the Mirror World.
- After Izis was created she sealed her away into the Mirror World to keep her safe so she can grow powerful enough to break free on her own. It was out of sheer usefulness for her abilities not genuine care.
- This would make her indirectly responsible for Izis' crimes due to that act isolating her made he wanna break free from the Mirror World, making her do whatever it takes to break free such as attempting to kill Rimuru Tempest and co numerous times in her attempts of breaking free, terrorizing an village with an copy of Charybdis and killing 10,000 people to awaken as a True Demon Lord.
- She created imposters of Carrion, Frey and Gazel Dwargo named Gazel Ein, Carrion Soph, and Frey Aur to hire outcasted members of the original's race and humans to pillage and raid villages which got the real ones in troubles. The raids is to starve out trade in the Western Nations and overwhelm them with migrations by making merchants too scared to go out.
- When Izis broke free from the Mirror World, she attempt to get her creation Izis to ally with her and when that failed as she had her minions beat her up and mockingly called her "daughter" and said "Is that how you treat your mother" out of sadism. Rimuru and Shinsha's intervention stopped her from taking her away where she attempt to kill them both while mockingly call Shinsha "daugther" and referring herself as her "grandmother".
- She had Rimuru and Shinsha trapped while putting Izis in a situation where she knows she need their help but know Izis wouldn't want their help to begin with.
- She had Izis almost killed with a Paradox Pierce out of sheer sadism to torment an slime child that is an 1 year old with the mentality of an mature adolescent.
- While Shinsha did hit her with Tepes and nearly killed her, it was karma for her actions.
- When Shinsha offered to give her acts and leave Cliché flat out rejected her redemption offer.
- Rimuru stated by the heroes was gonna dig unstable tunnels under various nations such as Thalian, Dwargon, Eurastanja, Falmuth and attempted on the Jura Tempest to collapse the tunnels which would cause many to cave in and was stated those nations had millions, and would’ve used their deaths to awaken Gazel Ein, Carrion Syhth and Frey Aur into True Demon Lords to be her enforcers.
- This doesn't rely on fridge-horror as Raphael analyze it being the most likely possible situation and is very known to make spot on predictions, plus the other heroes took it seriously enough when they to Cliché's underground base and reinforced the caverns to prevent them from collpasing.
- After becoming an Fascinator Elf she overpowered both Rimuru Tempest and Izis with her unique abilities before her ability Snatch Bites on Benimaru, Shion, Souei, Hakurou, Gobta, Ranga, Gabiru, Souka, Phobio, Suphia, and Ablis to trap them in a Mirror Pocket Dimension while slowly and painfully draining their life out to spite and make Rimuru Tempest suffer for attempting to thwart her out of sheer sadism. Had not been for Shinsha rescuing them they would've been dead
- As the current chapter being left on a cliffhanger with Cliché about to face an evolved Shinsha, she remains unpunished for her actions making her an Karma Houdini.
- Despite having to compete with Clayman and Yuuki Kagurazaka, she stands out for her actions of not having one slight selfless intentions or goal behind it as unlike either of them as their actions had some selfless goal or genuine extremist intent behind them in the end, while she did it for her selfish purposes, and for her attempted kill count with her much lower resources as both of them have a position of government while she do not allowing her to stand out and out heinous them, she also stands out more for actually posing a actual threat to Rimuru Tempest and her attempts of slowly killing his friends and allies out of sheer sadism.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Evil?[]
- She is minor tragic as she was driven away from her home of Sorcerer's Dynasty of Thalion due to multiple assassination attempts on her for unknown reasons and only did her acts due to the dangers of catastrophe level beings like Veldora Tempest seeing his rampages years ago. This also makes her a bit of extremist as she would've ruled the world under her control so no one has face such threats but it mostly towards her selfish gain making it not too severe.
- She shown some minor care for her underlings as she was saddened by their deaths.
Trivia[]
- She is the only That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime character to be Near Pure Evil so far. This is due to the fact most of the series most heinous villains have too many preventions to be an Near Pure Evil, while those who lack it fails the series high heinous. Due to her being from a mobile game that is a separate with a lower heinous standard she is able to stand out as a result.
- While the game is ongoing with future updates releasing more of it's original stories, her NPE status could be challenged if she gains more redeeming qualities or loose them and reveal what kind of rule she would impose once she wins could make her qualify as an Pure Evil.
