“ | Bit by bit, this boy was tearing down the empire that she'd so painstakingly built. Freeing Vanessa from her mind control, destroying the remains of Afton in the basement, setting Glamrock Freddy loose. As her carefully created world crumbled around her one more time, she would begin to plot her revenge. She would bring them all to ruin. | „ |
~ MatPat describing Clara's downfall and plan for revenge. |
Clara Afton is the final protagonist of Game Theory's "ULTIMATE" version of the Five Nights at Freddy's timeline, serving as a minor protagonist in Parts 1 and 2, an unseen character in Part 3 and the main protagonist of Part 4.
She is the ex-wife of William Afton and mother of the Crying Child, Michael and Elizabeth Afton. Despite not being around for most of the series, Clara ultimately takes center stage following the events of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator in an attempt to recreate the family she lost, proving herself to be as bad, if not worse, then her husband.
Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- She created the Fazbear Funtime Service with hundreds of animatronics to gain Remnant from the bodies of numerous people, showing she was willing to get hundreds hurt and most likely killed to achieve her goals.
- She hired a game developer named Steve to create games based on the tragedies of Freddy's, thus making the whole world treat the past events like mysteries to solve, repairing Fazbear Entertainment's reputation.
- It was heavily implied she had Glamrock Bonnie decommissioned to rebuild her husband's physical body.
- She would bring back William through a VR game so he could merge with someone and escaping it to continue what he's been doing. This resulted in a man committing suicide to escape him, which she stayed apathetic towards.
- She had a woman named Vanessa psychologically tortured and manipulated by herself, William and Gregory, the robotic recreation of the Crying Child, so she would behave exactly like her daughter Elizabeth, who she already has several similarities to. She also used her to bring back William's soul.
- While she seems to love Gregory, the robotic recreation of her youngest son, the end of the series implies she'll try to kill or otherwise hurt them for ruining her plans.
- Any care towards Vanessa is purely obsessive due to her being a way to have Elizabeth again.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- She cares for her youngest children, the Crying Child and Elizabeth, and her ex-husband William. The Crying Child's death sent her into a deep depression and her whole goal revolves around bringing all of them back together.
- She is a sympathetic character as she lost her children while they were very young, had to watch as her husband slowly drifted away from her and ultimately outlived all her loved ones.
