Charlie Ho-Tep is the main antagonist of the game, Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse. He is a sapient ventriloquist dummy from the Devil's Toybox who was created by lovecraftian monsters to appease Junior.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He created an army of Sam clones to help him gather all of the psychic toys of power in a plot to use them for conquest.
- He enthralled Stinky and Sal into maintaining his secret lair for him.
- He pretends to be an inanimate toy in order to more easily manipulate Sam & Max, only revealing himself near the end when his plans are almost complete.
- He forces Sam to hold him so that he can perform the ritual to awaken Junior with intent on him laying waste to the planet.
- He attempted to merge Earth with the Dark Dimension which would have destroyed both worlds.
- He attempts to kill Paperwaite and Dr. Norrington for trying to stop him.
- His actions ultimately result in Max merging with Junior and destroying the city.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Evil?[]
