Near Pure Evils who have been saved by a hero, or in some rare cases by a Pure Good or Near Pure Good, however they will resort to backstabbing, being ungrateful or refusing to be saved since they are irredeemable.

However, some of a more honorable nature may have a modicum of gratitude for the hero and not attack cowardly or may even propose a temporary truce. And in some rare cases, they can also express their gratitude towards the hero while still maintaining their NPE status. Furthermore, they can even return the favor to the hero by protecting them from a far worse villain.

Their good counterparts are Near Pure Goods that Saved a Villain.

Examples are:

• Screenslaver, who was saved by Elastigirl from falling from a great height after her plane was destroyed.
• Killian, who was trapped by Walter in an inflatable hug to protect him after deactivating his arm, sending them both falling.
• Green Goblin, who was saved by Raimiverse Spider-Man from being killed by the Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man.
• Kai Chisaki, who was saved by Izuku Midoryia from being shot by Lady Nagant although this is downplayed by the fact she wasn't actually trying to shoot him.
• Joker, who Batgirl saved from being killed by Orphan.
• Ryoba Aishi, who was defended by Sonoko Sakanoue during court scene.
• Prince, who was defended by Ladybug from Tangerine.
• Chelsea Van Der Zee, who is spared by Ruby Gillman after she convinced her grandmother not to fry her to death.
