Near Pure Evils who pretended to feel remorse for their actions. These villains tend to trick the heroes or others into thinking that they have changed. In other cases, they sarcastically apologize to the heroes when the heroes know they are clearly not sorry. These villains truly do not regret the acts they have committed and only pretend to feel bad when they are caught in a dire situation. After successfully tricking their enemies, these villains would resort back to their normal acts without feeling any regrets for their past actions.
An example is Montgomery de la Cruz.
Most of them are Cowards and Hypocrites (easily seen from the quotes above), but not always.
They are the opposite of remorseful Near Pure Evils. However, they are not mutually exclusive, as a Near Pure Evil can fake remorse over one action and feel genuinely remorseful over another.
Their good opposite feels a huge amount of remorse, even though their actions are never evil.
