Misanthropes

You move to an area and you... multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet; you are a plague and we are the cure.	„

Misanthropes are Near Pure Evils who possess an extreme hatred for humanity and/or their species of origin. Misanthropy can lead to villains committing terrible crimes as they no longer have compassion towards their fellow people and in fact despise them. If the Near Pure Evil goes too far, they may eventually become a Cataclysm.

Examples are Agent Smith, Master Xandred, Undergrowth, Adam Taurus, Protoboy, Kars, Bane, and Nightmare.

Note: If a Near Pure Evil shows hatred for a few people, but doesn't harbor any hatred against humanity, they do not count. Those should go under Archenemies, Xenophobes, Abusers, Delusional and/or Rivals instead. To qualify as a misanthrope, a Near Pure Evil has to show hatred for everyone, not just a few innocent people.
