Near Pure Evil villains who fall in love with someone special in their life. Pure Evils never feel love and even if they did at some point it's either subverted or, it has devolved into pure obsession, egotism and/or lust. Conversely, Near Pure Evils are capable of feeling genuine love, which is often one of their most notable preventions from being Pure Evil.

Some examples include Ren Sohma, Baek Jun Ki, Masamune Dan, and Byron Hadley. Others who love but not in a romantic context include Ronan the Accuser honoring his father, Pharaoh Seti I appreciating his wife and sons, Bellatrix Lestrange venerating her boss, and Ursula adoring and caring for her dual pets. This also applies to Near Pure Evils who are only implied to be in love romantically, such as Yoshikage Kira. If the Near Pure Evils who truly love someone crave affection and love for someone more specific and cause great harm to many people, they can be considered Yandere. Esdeath is one such example.
