Near Pure Evils who have befriended a hero in the past. Usually, this friendship will be long gone, but there may be cases where a Near Pure Evil is a genuine friend of a hero, thus counting as a prevention. Additionally, they can count as being loyal to their friends who happen to be heroes (and other villains as well). For obvious reasons, such characters count as debased.

NOTE: Near Pure Evils who have only faked friendship and never were genuinely friends with anyone do not count, and should go under Faux Affably Evil, Master Manipulators, and/or Liars instead.
