Cackletta, referred to as Bowletta after possessing Bowser, is the main antagonist of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its remake. She also appears as the overarching antagonist of Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- She attempted to steal Princess Peach's voice so she could use it on the Beanstar for world domination.
- She successfully replaced who she believed to be Princess Peach's voice, really Birdo, with explosives. She also did so while disguised as an ambassador from the Beanbean Kingdom, meaning she would have brought her homeland and the Mushroom Kingdom into conflict if Prince Peasley had not warned Peach priorhand.
- She transformed Prince Peasley into a dragon after Fawful lured him into their trap. Presumably, she knew that the guards would be sent to locate him, which would make her future assault on the town that much easier.
- She and Fawful destroyed the Beanbean Castle Town and have injured a few people.
- She and Fawful brainwashed Queen Bean into fighting Mario and Luigi, with Lady Lima implying reversing the process would have been almost impossible.
- In collaboration with Fawful, she transformed many scientists at Woohoo Hooniversity into mindless monsters. These creatures became so devoid of intelligence that they could no longer even dress themselves properly. The curse placed upon them was irreversible, effectively leading to their demise.
- After being defeated by Mario and Luigi, she possessed Bowser after finding him with Fawful, now getting much more access as the Queen of Koopas.
- She manipulated Mario and Luigi into giving to her the restored Beanstar so she could use Peach to wake the Beanstar up and getting the wish to conquer the world, and even after Fawful gave her the Beanstar, she mocked Mario and didn't return Peach to him.
- She had Bowser's minions brainwashed during the events of Bowser's Minions.
- She once again laid waste to the town using Bowser's flying castle, with the intention of murdering every single resident to secure her conquest. Additionally, she planned to extend her dominion over the Mushroom Kingdom.
- She tricked the Mario Bros into thinking that they had beat her during their second fight, only for her to detonate a time-bomb, knocking them out.
- Confident she finished them, she inhaled Mario and Luigi and tried to kill them again as a soul when she realized they are still alive.
- Despite having some comedic moments, she is still taken seriously in-universe, with some of these comedic moments showing how sadistic and vile she is.
- While not as heinous as the Dark Star and Elder Princess Shroob, they had more resources than her.
- Despite the story of Bowser's conquest had Toads suffer fates worse than death, it does not seem to follow in these Mario & Luigi Series due to Goomba race joining his army after he would do this, while Partners in Time shows them already under his rule, even if he was a child.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- She fails the heinous standard to the younger Princess Shroob, who was much more brutal in her conquest, such as mercilessly draining majority of Toad race and almost led them to extinction and later unleashed Yoob, who has own kills under it's belt.
Trivia[]
- She, along with Antasma and Elder Princess Shroob are the three Mario & Luigi villains to be Near Pure Evil.
- In the prototype of the game, it is revealed Cackletta and Queen Bean were supposed to be sisters. Had this been kept in the final product it would have made Cackletta worse due to family cruelty she would inflict on her sister and nephew.
