~ Buzz Aldrin revealing his true nature. |
Edwin Eugene "Buzz" Aldrin Jr. is a one-shot antagonist in Netflix adult animated series Inside Job, serving as the main antagonist of the episode "Buzzkill".
He is the second man on the moon who built a Moontopia on it. However, it later turns out that Aldrin is actually a tyrannical dictator who wanted to deorbit the moon from Earth out of pride, which would lead to mass flooding on Earth.
He was voiced by Roger Craig Smith, who also voiced Internet in Regular Show.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He murdered Neil Armstrong by shooting him in the head in order for him not to stop his plans.
- Showed a superiority on running a colony in the Moon, wishing to “get out” of the Earth’s orbit, and it’s shown he is actually extremely abusive towards his colony and is a “tyrant” showing no care towards his colony.
- He attempted to push the moon out of Earth’s orbit using rocket thrusters, which would have lead with the deaths of all life on Earth due to the tides drowning all of the continents, something he shows no care about.
- He attempted to murder Reagan, Brett and Rand Ridley (though he would go on to deserve it, it was only because Rand was getting in his way), even after Reagan says (falsely) that he is her father.
- While he seems shocked and crestfallen after the DNA test says he is the father of Reagan (which was later proven false), he reveals he only went to the Earth to beat a paternity test he won’t get held down again.
- He abandons the Moon Colony to find another Moon to inhabit and conquer, escaping justice.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- While his is taken far more seriously than most of the show's other villains, he still has some comedic moments even after the reveal, namely him trying to make out with Reagan after believing she was about to confess romantic feelings toward him, their awkward interaction afterwards, being crushed by a heart-shaped bed out of the wall with BDSM items behind it, and him putting the word "moon" in front of every word including his moon-guards. And while he is taken mostly seriously afterward, his defeat consists of him mentioning that he left Earth to beat a paternity test after his plan is thwarted, with Rand and Reagan flipping him off as he escapes.
