Bruce Hanes is the main antagonist of the Youtube film, OMC Movie: The Movie and it's continuation OMC Movie: Purepocolypse. He is the European corrupt CEO of the Power Plant company, Pure Power, he is hellbent on bombing Pokehood and putting a Power Plant in it's place to avenge his family.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
In General[]
- He for the most part only cares about himself and what he wants, as money isn't his main motivation but revenge for his family who got shamed in Pokehood in the first place, he is still willing to kill several people to achieve this goal.
- His own employees aren't safe from his wrath as they've been abused and it's implied he's killed many employees in the past for not following his orders, we see this when two of his employees mention they have to kill two children who only were defending Pokehood or else they killed by him, showing how much of a horrible boss he is, this can't be passed off as a throwaway line because he actually did kill two of his employees when they failed to kill Charmander and his family and friends, it doesn't even seem like Angel Dust is safe from how evil he is because of how he aggressively yells at him for trying to tell him something important.
- He is the most evil villain in the OMC Movies franchise, despite having a company under his disposal, no villain has tried to rack up a high body count like he has aside from Angel Dust who was following his orders, so a lot of his crimes weigh on Bruce's shoulders.
OMC Movie: The Movie[]
- He plans to bomb Pokehood and build a Power Plant over it, which impacted several citizens who’ve lived there, his only reason for this is being “without electricity, you all will die” but this doesn’t make him an extremist, this is because of what we learn in OMC Movie: Purepocolypse and there was nothing to indicate that anywhere was in need of electricity or power.
- He beats one of his employees with his cane because of him not being ready for the camera, which his own fault as he told him to record the broadcast at that said time, even for this reason it doesn't justify him abusing his employees.
- He evicts everyone in Pokehood from their homes and gives them little time to move out of their houses, giving them less than a week to find a new place to stay and gives no reimbursements for the losses of their homes.
- He falsely has Jiggly Puff arrested at the block party and shuts it down, although this was somewhat justified considering permits weren’t actually filed, he had no reason to arrest Jiggly Puff and later taunt her about her being arrested by him.
- He bribes all the police officers to not arrest him and to tell Pikachu and Psyduck everyday that Jiggly Puff keeps trying to escape.
- While he does give all of Pokehood’s citizens the chance to move out, he reveals he brainwashed Mayor Rockruff into letting him bomb all of Pokehood illegally by bribing him and letting him kill everyone still in Pokehood if they haven’t moved out, and he also revealed he did the same thing to Donald Trump as he was president at the time Pokehood was getting bombed.
- He steals the document that protects Pokehood from ever being destroyed and hides it from Mayor Rockruff, he also lies about its existence to Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur despite there being evidence of it existing, and he kicks them out of his office when Squirtle calls him a liar.
- He orders Angel Dust to kidnap Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur to keep them out of the way of his plans.
- When Jiggly Puff tries escaping, he taunts her and tells her that if she escapes he’ll have her killed, and when she eventually does escape due to Bruce accidentally pushing a button that releases all prisoners, he orders for more of his employees to go search for her and bring her back to him.
- When Charmander and Squirtle break back into Pure Power HQ, he busts down the door and reveals he had the document all along, and rips it up and throws it out the window, he also gets his guards to try and throw the boys in jail for trying to get the document back.
- He chases Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur around his building and attempts to take the evidence of him ripping the document by force, and threatens them in the process.
- He gets on his bike and chases down the Uber, planning to kill Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur of them so the footage of him ripping the document wouldn’t be exposed to the entirety of Pokehood, this also results in him shoving Charizard and Pikachu when they stand in the way of him and him shooting at Charmander from outside the vehicle.
- When Mayor Rockruff declares that Bruce no longer is allowed to destroy Pokehood upon seeing him rip the document that protects Pokehood from being destroyed, he still attempts to destroy it by sending his men to kill all of its residents, even after his men, including Angel Dust were defeated he still goes out of his way to try and destroy Pokehood.
- He tries to steal the Uber and get out of Pokehood, but when he sees Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Pikachu, Psyduck, Snorlax, Charizard, Jiggly Puff, Treecko, Sobble, and Spider Man in front of the car he tries running them over.
- He gets out of the car with a shotgun and tries killing Charmander and Squirtle himself.
- He declares he’ll kill all of Pokehood one day before he’s arrested and his bribes are no longer accepted.
OMC Movie: Purepocolypse[]
- He breaks out of jail and swears revenge on Charmander and his family for foiling his plans.
- He manipulates Mayor Rockruff again by telling him “positive changes” would come to Pokehood, when in reality horrible changes would be made, he also used a fake identity to do this.
- He shoved Pigeotto on the news telling him to get out of his way and takes the camera.
- He blows up the two houses next to Charmander’s and builds a Power Plant over it.
- He tries destroying Charmander’s house out of spite by using a fake petition claiming his own friends signed it and that it was too late for them to save their house.
- He gets Pikachu arrested claiming to Officer Cartman that he tried killing him which wasn’t true, this was because Pikachu stole the false petition he created and tried getting him put under execution for theft.
- He starts the demolition process early by sending his employees to destroy the house.
- He tries killing Charmander and Bulbasaur when they were caught in his office getting the proof that Bruce was Christopher and the petition was fake.
- He destroys the evidence of the petition being fake so Charmander wouldn’t expose it to Mayor Rockruff.
- He calls Mayor Rockruff a moron for not figuring out who he was, which debunks the claim that Bruce made in the movie about him being his best friend, we never saw any interactions of them as friends so it's very likely that all this time he was just using him and they were never friends.
- He gets into a car and tries ramming into Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Pikachu, Psyduck, Jigglypuff, Charizard, and Snorlax when he gets banned from Pokehood by Mayor Rockruff
- He kills two of his employees for failing to kill Charmander and his family when his car ran out of gas.
- He tries killing Charmander and his family one final time with a shotgun before realizing he ran out of bullets and was taken back to jail.
- Most of his comedic aspects are dropped from the movie, and he is taken completely seriously by the narrative and in-universe in his appearances.
Season 3[]
- He, along with serveral other inmates broke out of jail with the help of Joyace and Angel Dust, all with the intent to kidnap Pikachu.
- When he pulls up to a park, he claims to have killed someone who ordered the Uber he was in before him, and holds the driver at gun point if he called the police on him for what he did.
- He states he fakes injuries occasionally as evidence by when he approached Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur again stating he likes the attention.
- He pulls out his gun on Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur and tries to kill them again so they get out of the way of rescuing Pikachu, giving it away that he's involved with the kidnapping and tries to hide it afterwards. He then sings his musical number titled "It's Gonna Get Weird".
- During his musical number, he tosses a cat, hits Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur with his cane, harasses a stranger and makes him spill his drink, and forces the trio to spin around in circles.
- After the song he tries killing Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur again until Optimus Prime shows up to stop him.
- He also tries killing Optimus Prime before he is subdued by him and walks off once Joyace calls him back to HQ.
- During the fight he points his gun directly at Charmander before Optimus defends him.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He is tragic, as he had a bad childhood where he and his family were shamed in Pokehood and hates it so much for that reason. In his cut song, it shows this and is not contradicted as he reveals it in OMC Movie: Purepocolypse as while this may not justify him completely, it’s shown he definitely cares for his family.
