~ Bori Khan's famous quote. |
Bori Khan is the main antagonist of 2020 Disney's live-action film Mulan.
He is the conqueror of China who sought to avenge his father death by killing the Emperor. He replaced Shan Yu from 1998 Disney's animated movie with the same name.
He was portrayed by Jason Scott Lee.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Attacked Chinese territories with his army, resulting in the deaths of innocents.
- Showed misogynistic behavior toward his ally, Xian Lang, by calling her a witch, despite her usefulness for the army.
- Launched an attack on Mulan's army to distract them from his army approaching the Emperor's location.
- Arriving at the Emperor's Kingdom, he assaulted the Emperor's army and kidnapped the Emperor, then he tied him up and decided to boil him in the fire.
- Murdered Xian Lang, who tried to protect Mulan from him. Even if it was not intentional, he still showed no regret and still deemed her as a tool to him.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Bori Khan's motives were to avenge the death of his father, which shows that he cared for him.
- One of the other reasons that he's united the Rouran Army to conquer China is to take back the land they lost to the empire after losing the last war, which is at least a somewhat sympathetic and understandable motive.
