Bone-Fossa is a supporting antagonist in the Netflix original All Hail King Julien. He is a normal fossa with a bird-like skull for a crown who is the leader of the Fossa Territory.
He was voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson, who also voiced Demongo in Samurai Jack and Tartarus in Halo 2.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He often ordered his Fossas to attack the Lemurs for food.
- It was mentioned that his Fossas had eaten half of the Lemurs' kingdom during the reign of King Julien XII.
- Due to being the leader of the Fossas, he was responsible for all their attacks in season 1.
- He saw Clover's disappearance as an opportunity and launched an attack on all the Lemurs twice, attempting to kill King Julien and the other Lemurs before being stopped by Marry Ann.
- These attacks meant that he willingly broke the peace between the Lemurs and the Fossas.
- Considering that the Fossas still attacked the lemurs in the first Madagascar movie, it implied that he was still the leader, which made him indirectly responsible for their actions in the film.
- He and his Fossa are shown to have a lot of sadism in hunting Lemurs.
- Because they overhunt, this implied that he and the other Fossas killed more for fun than for survival, which would result in the almost extinction of the Lemurs on the island.
- Unlike the rest of the Fossas, he was shown to be smart enough to understand his actions.
- While other villains in the show had done worse, he still stood out due to his low resources thanks to his incredibly limited screen time. Even if most of the Fossas' attacks weren't ordered by him, his crimes of willingly breaking the peace and him trying to kill every Lemur on Madagascar was more than enough for him to pass the heinous standards of the franchise.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Due to the show's comedic nature, he had a few comedic moments, like when he vomited after seeing a Fossa eat what he digested or when he made a puppy like sound when he was scared from Marry Ann before being chased by her. These weren't major preventions because unlike most of the other villains in the Madagascar franchise, he is taken seriously most of the time.
- He is sometimes a benevolent ruler, as he supported a wedding between two Fossas.
Trivia[]
- Bone-Foosa is currently the only Madagascar villain to be Near Pure Evil after Chantel DuBois was promoted to her current page.
- He is also the only Madagascar Near Pure Evil to not be in a Madagascar film, as well as the only one from All Hail King Julien.
- His video game counterpart, King Fossa, doesn't qualify as Near Pure Evil due to being bog-standard.
