Bo Sinclair is the main antagonist of the 2005 horror film House of Wax.

He is the owner of a gas station in an abandoned town called Ambrose as well as as the owner of a Wax museum which secretly contains the bodies of numerous people whom he lured and had turned into wax sculptures.

As an adult, he was portrayed by Brian Van Holt. As a child, he was portrayed by Thomas Adamson.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • When he was a kid, he attacked his parents when they tried to put him in his high chair so that he could eat and at one point scratched his mother’s hand and broke the wax sculpture she made.
  • After his parents died, Bo physically and verbally abused his brother Vincent into giving into his demands.
  • He lured many people by to the town of Ambrose by pretending to be good only to have Vincent kill them by turning them into life like sculptures using hot wax. The victims include:
    • The 14 people shown in the wax museum who later melt after the place gets set on fire.
    • The 14 people seen in the church who were used to recreate a funeral for his mother whom he also had Vincent turn into a wax sculpture after she died.
    • An elderly woman seen in her home opening the window blind.
    • The 2 men who were in the hardware store posed with weapons.
    • The 33 people seen in the cinema room.
    • The 3 people seen outside the cinema room with one of them being Jennifer who was turned into a wax model named “Ms.Ambrose”.
    • The 2 babies seen in one of the rooms in the wax museum whose heads are merged together and later melt after the place gets set on fire.
  • He harassed Carly, Nick, Wade, Blake, Paige, and Dalton by shinning the lights from his car until Nick broke one of the headlights.
  • He had Vincent turn Wade into a wax sculpture which led to his friend Dalton trying to find him only for him to get killed by Vincent as well.
  • He ad Vincent kill Blake and Paige.
  • He kidnapped Carly after she found it that he was the one in the car and had her restrained in a room in the gas station while also gluing her lips shut.
  • He sadistically sliced off one of Carly’s fingers when she tried to alert her brother Nick that she was captured.
  • After Carly ripped through the glue and got Nick’s attention, he tried to kill the 2 of them with a shotgun and chased them in a movie theatre.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • Despite attacking her when he was a kid, he genuinely cares for his mother. This is shown in his first scene as him as an adult in where he recreates her funeral and angrily states “I'm sorry, Mama. These people just have no respect" when he finds one of the sculptures whose arm was ripped off accidentally by Carly when she tried to get away from him.
