Beta is a major antagonist of The Walking Dead comic series, being the secondary antagonist of "Volume 26: Call to Arms", and the main antagonist of "Volume 27: The Whisperer War" and "Volume 29: Lines We Cross".
He is the second in command and “Beta” of a cultish group known as The Whisperers.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Like Alpha herself, Beta allowed rape in the group - which included Alpha’s daughter Lydia.
- He attacked Michonne and Aaron, and almost killed Aaron by stabbing him in the gut and wanted to carve Michonne's face off.
- Despised Negan and was wishing to kill him for joining the Whisperers and intervenes when he tried stopping two people from raping a woman.
- Declared war against the rest of the communities out of anger for Alpha’s death.
- Murdered Gabriel Stokes when he was scouting by gutting him and letting him get devoured by the horde.
- Attacked a group of militia members in a horde, killing three while another four lost their lives.
- Murdered a whisperer for trying to remove his mask.
- Leads a zombie horde towards Alexandria to try and destroy the city, which leads to Paula and Andrea’s death.
- Attempts to murder Jesus and Aaron in their sleep.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He was extremely loyal to Alpha, staying by her side and after discovering her body, Beta screamed in tears and proclaimed there was never going to be another Alpha.
