Berenice, also known as The Flying Donkey, is a major antagonist in Monica Adventures, being one of the antagonists of the SuperSaga: End of the World, specifically, the main antagonist of the Umbra arc. She is one of the Four Horses of Apocalypse, being the Pale Horse of Death. She was once a kind woman, but became mad when her daughter die, and vowed revenge, even if her daughter was an evil person herself and responsible for her own death. She is Madam's Creuzodet's ex-helper and one of Jimmy Five's archenemies.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Sold her soul to the Serpent to get revenge on the children.
- Poisoned the seven children and trapped them in the Umbra to resurrect her daughter, though it failed since her daughter wasn't innocent to begin with, and the children weren't guilty of anything.
- While she could not know the full story, she still kept in her hateful crusade for revenge after finding out the children didn't kill her daughter, and even tried to destroy the world, totally unrelated to the incident, throwing away any chance of justifying her crimes.
- Manipulated Jimmy Five through his ambitions and ego to go to Sococo de Ema and bring the gang with him, plotting to use them for her scheme.
- Told the gang the fake story about how the children bullied her daughter and eventually killed her, to put them against the Umbra Children.
- Poisoned and buried Monica, Smudge and Maggy, using their spirits to create bodyguards to get the skull back from the Umbra.
- When she was going to resurrect her daughter, she revealed that she was aging quickly and dying, and that she modified the ritual to make so she fuses with her daughter into one being, to then start her campaign of revenge against the world.
- Tried to kill the Gang, Sofia, Denise, the Umbra Children, Big Sunny and Zé Bob & Crispian, when they tried to stop her.
- Passes the heinous standarts because of low resources and her attempted omnicide.
- Her last scene is she and her daughter being peacefully taken in a boat to Hell by Lady McDeath.
- While she was calm and quiet in the scene, that doesn't mean she felt remorse or anything like that, but rather that she admitted defeat and was ready to face punishment.
- While all of her kills were reversed later on, the parents still were forced to live several years without their children, and her attempted omnicide prevents her from to being heinous enough.
- She had comical moments, but only before the reveal of her as a villain. After that, she's taken dead seriously.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Despite not warning her about the fusion, she still cares for her daughter, as she was the motive of her fall in villainy, she was worried about her not being to take care of her daughter if she died and was defeated using an illusion of her daughter.
Trivia[]
- She's one of the two Monica's Gang Near Pure Evils, alongside Mr. Crowley. She is the only one from the main timeline though, despite appearing in Adventures and not in the mainline comics, as Mr. Crowley is from a graphic novel set in an alternate universe.
- If she appears later in the saga, she might become Pure Evil by abandoning love for her daughter, or stop being near Pure Evil, though the End of the World Saga is in a hiatus, and she'll probably take a while to reappear.
