Benjamin Travis is the secondary antagonist of the video game Hitman Absolution and the final target in the game. He is the leader of the ICA and one of 47's most dangerous foes.

He was voiced by the late Powers Boothe.

History[]

This section is too long. Visit here for more details: Benjamin Travis's Synopsis on the Villains Wiki.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He used his position in the army to do mercenary work regardless of the morality of his actions.
  • He took control of the ICA, an organisation that would kill anyone for the right price. Under him, civilian casualities were ignored as long as they didn't draw too much attention, shown by how lax 47 was encouraged to be during Diana Burnwood's "assassination."
  • He experimented on Victoria, a young girl, in order to turn her into a killing machine. This process was painful and traumatising for the young girl.
  • When Victoria was rescued, he put a hit on Diana in retaliation, trying to manipulate 47, her closest friend into doing the deed.
  • In order to catch 47, he had his lackeys shoot up a motel and a fairgrounds, leading to a massive amount of death and destruction. He had no care for who was caught in the crossfire as long as there was a chance 47 was one of the victims.
  • He had little care for his subordinates, putting them in harm's way while being fully aware that they could be killed or maimed at the hands of 47.
  • He wanted Victoria returned unharmed purely so he could continue to experiment on her, turning on Blake Dexter for utterly pragmatic reasons.
  • He showed no remorse for his actions, only wondering if Diana was really dead during his final moments.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He somewhat fails the Heinous Standards to Dexter, who managed to commit more heinous crimes such as attempting to blow up a whole hotel to kill 47, killing his own wife and abusing his son, raping strippers along with Wade and Dominic, while also endangering many innocents by hiring Wade to kidnap Victoria, while being completely uncaring to the deaths Wade caused, despite having less resources then Travis.
