BadwaterVideos2009 is the main villainous protagonist of the BadwaterVideos2009 ARG, an ARG that pays homage to the old era of GMod Machinimas.
He is a YouTuber who makes GMod animations on Team Fortress 2. On the surface, he appears to be a regular GMOd animator with nothing particular in mind. In truth, He carelessly uses sentient ragdolls to make his videos and goes out of his way to control and torture them when they interfere with his production.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He has used and tormented innocent sentient ragdolls for the creation of GMod animations for an unknown period without any care whatsoever.
- After finding a RED Scout, he captures and forces him to be in his video.
- He deletes a BLU Heavy after finishing and tries to do the same with the RED Scout.
- After finding out that the RED Demoman and BLU Engineer saved the RED Scout, he turns them into Melon Man and the Teethineer, with the BLU Engineer's transformation most likely being extremely painful.
- When he saw a BLU Scout trying to escape after he got bombed, he ran towards him and most likely deleted him.
- Coerces Melon Man to brutally punch the Teethineer and would delete him if refused.
- He turned a BLU Medic into Dr. Metalhead, which presumably was very painful.
- He deletes a BLU Soldier after his surgical attempt to create a robotic hybrid failed and ended with him mutilated, and it's unlikely that this was a mercy kill considering his treatment in general.
- He welded Melon Man to the ground so he doesn't wander off and for easy convivence.
- After finding the RED Scout again he forces him to be in his tutorial.
- After the RED Scout ran off, he decided to use the RED Engineer instead who also tried to run off but failed.
- He accidentally kills the Teethineer, which means he probably turned another BLU Engineer into the Teethineer.
- He conjoins a RED Pyro and a BLU Pyro into the Pyder, an amalgamation of the two.
- After finding the RED Scout yet again he forces him into a chair, breaks one of his fingers, and then cuts him with a sawblade and sticks other objects inside him.
- Afterward, the RED Scout was abandoned while still alive in a horribly mutilated state and had to be put out of his misery by another Scout with the makeshift toolgun he made.
- He killed numerous RED Scouts in petty frustration for disobeying him, including restraining and shooting them, cutting off their legs with a sawblade to bleed out, dropping them from height, impaling them, burning them, and hanging them, with it revealing that he's killed dozens while stating the punishments will "never be enough" because of the Scout's continuous efforts.
- Gets no punishment for his crimes besides slight mishaps in his film production, making him a Karma Houdini.
- While the Spy is never seen in his videos, nothing proves he cares for him and he most likely would treat him the same way as the other ragdolls.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Despite everything he has done, he does seem to be affable and even caring towards his viewers, as he apologized when a video couldn't be made and even made a Q&A video in compensation and often thanks them for his subscriber count. He also seems to work quite hard to produce his videos for his viewers.
- Although this could simply be a façade as damage control for his unreleased video, possibly for his egotism stemming from his fame, there's no indication.
- Additionally, this might be the reason he even makes the GMod films in the first place, albeit it's also mere speculation and doesn't excuse his actions in the slightest since he's shown to be capable of making animations without any of the ragdoll's sentience.
