Baby is the main antagonist of the anime series Dragon Ball GT. He is an alien parasite and a creation made from Tuffle King's DNA who wants to kill the Saiyans for committing genocide on the Tuffle race and brainwash every life form in the universe to be viewed as a god. He is the archenemy of Pan and Uub.
He was voiced by Mike McFarland, Robert McCollum (while possessing Goten), and Kyle Hebert (while possessing Gohan) in the Funimation dub, Adam Hunter in the Blue Water dub and Yūsuke Numata in the original Japanese dub.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Like Frieza, Baby is genuinely racist towards Saiyans, calling them monkeys (although his hatred towards them is understandable, considering they committed genocide on his race, the Tuffles).
- Possessed General Rilldo and used his body to try and kill Goku, Pan and Trunks, which ended with Rilldo being killed by them in battle.
- Killed Dr. Myuu despite creating him, showing his lack of care for all non-Tuffle life, although it can be argued that Dr. Myuu deserved it for all the horrible things he did.
- Brainwashed a little alien boy and killed an entire spaceship of passengers.
- Possessed Goten and Gohan and then nearly killed Piccolo afterwards.
- He possessed Vegeta, and with his body, he brainwashed Goku's friends and family and the citizens of Earth by entering their bodies and laying eggs in them, which is considerably a fate worse than death.
- It's also implied that his brainwashed victims are in a state of agonizing psychological pain, considering the state Goten was in before succumbing to Baby's control.
- Worse, it's revealed that after Baby's defeat, the Earth had a few weeks to blow up since he used the Black Star Dragon Balls almost an entire year before, revealing that he left Goku's loved ones and everyone on Earth in this horrid state for a very long time.
- Killed Giru in front of Trunks just to spite him.
- Nearly forced Gohan and Videl to kill their own daughter Pan for trying to free the citizens from his control, which severly traumatizes her, and they would've done it had Uub not stepped in to save her.
- When Goku says he'll never forgive him for what he did, Baby says he wouldn't be caught dead asking for forgiveness, showing he is completely unapologetic over his actions.
- Turned Uub into chocolate and ate him during their fight.
- Killed several of his own followers after becoming a Great Ape just to test his own power. He also attempted to kill Chi-Chi and Videl just to spite Goku.
- Nearly destroyed Earth and the newly restored Tuffle home world (though the latter was accidental).
- Tried to kill the Z-Fighters after Kibito Kai freed them from his control, even nearly crushing Trunks to death.
- Due to his usage of the Black Star Dragon Balls, he caused Earth's destruction and Piccolo's death.
- While he does treat Bulma with affection after possessing Vegeta and never mistreated her, this is mostly due to how Vegeta actually feels for her and his later attempt at destroying the entire Earth would have killed her too. Not to mention he also shoved her aside when trying to escape the protagonists in his spaceship.
- While he is upset that the Tuffle Race was killed by the Saiyans, this isn't played for sympathy due to his horrible actions for the following reasons:
- The Saiyans were already wiped out by Frieza, so justice has been served for a long time, but Baby doesn't care one bit since there's still living Saiyans.
- As Pan points out, the innocent people he killed and brainwashed, including Goku's friends and family, had nothing to do with the genocide of the Tuffles at all.
- He hypocritically calls the Saiyans barbaric creatures, but the Tuffles were supposed to be an innocent and peaceful race, not like the evil parasitic minions he created, so if anything, the one who is truly malevolent and barbaric and is giving the Tuffles a bad name is him.
- He does the exact same thing to the people of Earth what the Saiyans did to the Tuffles and eventually steals the body of the very thing he hates. Whatever the Saiyans put the Tuffles through, what he put the humans and all of Goku's loved ones through is just as bad, if not worse.
- While Chi-Chi slapping him is a bit comedic, not only is it too brief to detract from his villainy, but it also shows how much of a rude jerk he is since he opened the door on her and shoved her when she tried to see Goten's wound and that slap was completely justified.
- Despite being programmed to be the way he is, he's shown to have full moral agency over his actions, as his goals clearly go far beyond what the Tuffles wanted since his plans are to gain control over everyone in the universe and bring them under his controls so he is worshipped as a god, which is not what the Tuffles intended.
- While Syn Shenron did worse, Baby has less resources than him and manages to stand out for his personal villainy towards Pan and Uub and his crime of brainwashing every person on Earth, which he did in a rather unique and disgusting method. Plus, since Dragon Ball GT is non-canon, he doesn't exactly have to compete with villains from the canon continuity like Frieza, Cell, Majin Buu, Beerus, Zeno or Goku Black/Future Zamasu.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Cares about the Tuffles as his entire goal is to kill the Saiyans to avenge them, and their extinction at the hands of the Saiyans is why he hates them so much. While he did nearly destroy the newly restored Tuffle home world after becoming a Great Ape, it was due to him losing control of himself and becoming completely insane beyond control. However, considering how he killed some of his own minions who he turned into Tuffles and became the very thing he hates, a Saiyan, to gain power, not to mention he seems to show more concern over becoming ruler of the universe by brainwashing people who did nothing to him or the Tuffles, this is a minor prevention.
