Arius is the secondary antagonist of the 1985 action film Commando.
He was portrayed by Dan Hedaya.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He was a ruthless dictator who had many people tortured and executed.
- He has John Matrix's two former team members assassinated by his men.
- He has his men attack John's home, killing the two soldiers left to protect John and his daughter Jenny, and kidnap the latter, threatening to kill her and mail her back to John in pieces unless John travels to Val Verde to assassinate the president used to replace Arius as leader after John had Arius deposed. John is fully convinced they would've killed Jenny regardless of whether or not John did as told.
- When he gets a call informing him that John was not on the airplane that arrived in Val Verde and that the henchman left to accompany John and keep an eye on him was carried out dead on a stretcher, he orders Bennett to kill Jenny.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- His dictator crimes are offscreen villainy, and without them, he is not heinous enough to meet the standard for action movie villains.
