En Sabah Nur, better known as Apocalypse, is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Magneto) of X-Men: Evolution.
He is one of the world's first mutants who planned to use the Eye of Ages to transform all of humanity into mutants knowing at least half of humanity will die because of it.
He was voiced by David Kaye, who also voiced Jedah Dohma in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes His Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He killed many of Pharaoh Rama-Tut's people, and tried to kill him himself for becoming hostile to his tribe.
- He was going to use the Eye of Ages to become even more powerful and be able to enslave the world, but he was imprisoned there by his own servants.
- He used Mesmero to help him free himself from prison and embark on his villainous plan.
- After his release, he painfully takes away all the strength from Rogue, after which he becomes even more powerful.
- He was going to turn the whole world into mutants and remake the world for the better for himself, and he didn't care that most of the world's population would die because of it. He sees himself as a fated instrument, pushing humankind's growth even farther. All of this suggests that he has a deity complex.
- He subjects Mystique, Magneto, and Storm to painful brainwashing, turning them into his servants Horsemen.
- He creates three impenetrable spheres that began to destroy everything that is close to them. One in Yucatan, the second in China, and the third in Africa.
- When Charles Xavier tried to talk to him, he also subjected him to painful brainwashing, turning him into one of his Horsemen.
- He also has no problem killing children, because he repeatedly tried to kill Kitty, Rogue, Kurt and Evan.
- He and his Horsemen created massive destruction in order to achieve their villainous goal.
- He set his Horsemen against the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants, knowing that they would not be able to fight their friends.
- He makes a last attempt to take away all the powers from Rogue, but failed to do so and was imprisoned by her in the Eye of the Ages.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He has a tragic background: Abandoned at birth due to his obvious mutations, adopted by a tribe of violent raiders who imparted their "only the strong are worthy" ethos that later became a defining element of his character, saw his entire tribe killed and also saw his adoptive father die in front of him not long after as a result of Rama Tut's attempts to find him and kill him. However, it doesn't do much to excuse his actions, so this is a minor prevention.
- He genuinely cared about his foster father Baal, and wanted to take revenge on Pharaoh Rama-Tut for his murder.
