Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Joined Lord Voldemort very early-on out of pure sadism, as well as some pure-blood supremacist views, and hence awaited him in Hogsmeade when he asked to become the DADA teacher for unknown but certainly perverse reasons, making Albus Dumbledore very suspicious.
- Tortured innocent non-wizards for his own twisted amusement.
- Tortured wizards who would not join the terrorists for which he was affiliated.
- Murdered Fabian and Gideon Prewett, the brothers of Molly Weasley, in a "brutal" fashion along with five other Death Eaters who dishonorably ganged up on the duo.
- He vindictively smites Hermione Granger with a volatile curse which, despite being weaker than normal due to being cast non-verbally, severely injures the teenager.
- He breaks the wand and nose of Neville Longbottom.
- He corners Harry Potter and threatens him prior to being struck with Petrificus Totalus.
- He dominates Alastor Moody in combat.
- When Voldemort cites that Charity Burbage promotes marriages between wizards and non-magics, Dolohov smiles in a confused fashion as if he considers the very thought disgusting.
- He tries to capture Harry and kill Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger in Lucino Cafe for unknowingly breaking the Taboo. While Lord Voldemort subjects him to Cruciatus Curse for failing his task, it doesn't make him sympathetic.
- He murders Remus Lupin and tries to do likewise to Dean Thomas, solely because his master told him to wreak havoc at Hogwarts to goad Harry Potter into his company.
- He takes sadistic pleasure in tormenting the opposition and has nothing redeeming about him whatsoever.
- Like the majority of Death Eaters, he doesn't care of Voldemort and didn't mourn this presumed death.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Fails the hefty Heinous Standards of Harry Potter to villains like Bellatrix Lestrange and Gellert Grindelwald even if his resources are lesser, considering the median isn't large, yet they do far worse. However, on his own, his crimes are heinous and is debatably more heinous than the Malfoys by far.
- Most of his crimes are off-page and off-screen, as he does not do enough in view of his out-of-universe audience to be an approved PE.
