- After Barnabas Collins rejected her, she used dark magic to kill Barnabas’s parents. This drove him into a deep state of misery and grief.
- When Barnabas fell in love with a woman named Josette, Angelique enacted a curse that would force Josette to fall off a cliff and kill herself. Seeing this, Barnabas is consumed with despair and jumps off the same cliff.
- She curses Barnabas into becoming a vampire so he could suffer for all eternity.
- She turned the townspeople of Collinsport against Barnabas, burying him alive for the next 200 years.
