Andrew is a minor antagonist in AMC’s The Walking Dead. He is a prisoner held up at West Georgia Correctional Facility.

He was portrayed by Markice Moore.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • It is heavily implied by Axel that Andrew was a killer, explaining why he was locked up.
  • Supported Tomas when tensions were high when Rick’s group canon the prison, willing to hurt the group members.
  • When Rick killed Tomas, attempts to murder Rick with an axe.
  • When being ousted by Rick, destroys a fence to let walkers into the prison, in an attempt to kill Rick’s group so he can take back the prison, which would have included Rick’s son Carl, his wife Lori (who was pregnant with Judith), Carol, Daryl, T-Dog, Hershel, Glenn, Beth, Maggie, and the members of his own prison group, Oscar and Axel.
  • When Rick and Oscar go in to attempt to disable the alarm, Andrew attacks Rick and Oscar, with him attempting to kill the former, and tries to convince Oscar to kill Rick.
  • Despite his death, his actions cause the death of T-Dog, who sacrifices himself to save Carol, and Lori, who has labor due to the stress and causes her death as Maggie cuts her stomach open to save Judith, the former causes Carol to be presumed dead by the group and the latter of which causes Rick’s mental health to deteriorate and his descent into insanity.
  • Despite the very high heinous standard of the show, Andrew easily stands out to having absolutely no resources compared to any of the other villains, being a simple prisoner held up in a prison.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He is shown to care for both Tomas and Big Tiny, as after the latter was bitten, Andrew tried to convince Rick's group to save his life, and with the former's case, he was saddened and shocked by his death at Rick's hands.

Trivia[]

  • His Comic series counterpart cannot be Near Pure Evil, due to not doing anything heinous and is a villain by proxy and eventual scapegoat.
