~ Andrew to Jake. |
Andrew, also known as Fetch, is the secondary antagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's: Fazbear Frights anthology novel series.
He is the spirit of a dead child that tortured William Afton by keeping him alive, and later infected numerous toys, until his soul was put into the Stitchwraith.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- After being murdered by William Afton, he forcefully kept the man alive and tortured him in his nightmares. Afton totally deserved it, but this makes Andrew responsible for Afton managing to come back and cause more chaos later on.
- When a nurse at the hospital Afton was placed in tries to kill the man, Andrew tortures her with memories of her son's death to keep the man alive.
- When another nurse tries to kill Afton by air embolism by injecting air into his arm with a syringe, Andrew grabs the syringe and stabs her in the neck with it, almost killing her.
- When he entered the Fazbear Entertainment Distribution Center, Andrew let Afton die and injected countless objects with agony while he himself possessed an animatronic dog called Fetch.
- One of the objects he infected was a Foxy the Pirate animatronic, which caused a teenager called Pete to get psychologically tortured and then hit by a truck and die, only for his soul to remain inside his corpse and watch as he loses his arm and eye in an organ donation.
- He's somehow connected to an Plushtrap Chaser that tried to kill three teenagers.
- He's often speculated to be connected to Golden Freddy and/or Kelsey from the story The New Kid, which means he hunted down and killed multiple loner kids.
- While possessing Fetch, he killed a dog and a girl, and cut off a man's finger. He might have also killed a boy in the story's ending.
- He accidentally killed a man after possessing the Stitchwraith while trying to scare him. While it was later revealed to be Afton's fault, Andrew still admits he wanted to scare/hurt the man, and that he was partially responsible for his death, without a shred of remorse.
- While Jake, the other soul inside the Stitchwraith, tries to save people by capturing the agony-infected objects, Andrew refuses to help him and only sits inside the machine.
- He tried to kill Detective Larson after he realised he saw the Stitchwraith.
- While he's not as heinous as Afton and Eleanor, he still stands out due to his lower resources.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Although he does not listen to him sometimes, he does really care about Jake, as he views him as a friend and doesn't want to be left alone when Jake almost moves on to the afterlife without him, which is played for slight sympathy.
- He is tragic, as he is a young child that was murdered by Afton, which left him full of hate and anger. He is affected by this as he panics when he realizes Afton is part of the Stitchwraith, and epilogues that follow his second and final death point out he wasn't truly bad, and just angry.
- When the nurse he stabs with a syringe surrenders, he accepts her surrender and merely breaks the syringe, showing he has some honor.
Trivia[]
- Andrew is a parallel character to Golden Freddy, who is Inconsistently Heinous.
