Alexander "Alex" Kralie is the deuteragonist-turned-main antagonist of the horror ARG webseries Marble Hornets. He is an arrogant and delusional serial killer who wants to kill everyone in the Marble Hornets cast who have any connection to The Operator.
He was portrayed by Joseph DeLage, one of the series' creators.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- While he did start off with many redeeming qualities, with one of the few being a well-intentioned extremist, it was already stated that Alex was already a horrible person before the Operator's influence, and eventually, he subverted those redeeming factors.
- He tried to murder and kill the Marble Hornets cast and managed to succeed at nearly killing half of them and indirectly killed 1 of them as an attempt to prevent the Operator from spreading to more victims though not only did he not have any definitive proof to back that up that it would work but while he was correct in that Tim caused the Operator to go after them in the first place, Tim also points out that he could be spreading to more victims too and that killing everyone who knew about the Operator (including himself) wouldn’t automatically mean the Operator wouldn’t contact more victims, and that there could hundreds or possibly thousands of sources besides Tim.
- He got pleasure in lying to Jay and Jessica by using his girlfriend Amy (who he had killed for encountering the Operator) as a scapegoat so he can secretly kill them for knowing too much and constantly bullied Jay for making “everything worse” despite the fact that he didn’t give Jay much to go off of.
- He showed no remorse for killing Sarah, Seth, Jay. Jay in particular for being heinous considering he killed him for simply knowing too much and encountering the Operator despite the fact he was simply trying to help him.
- He continuously tormented Tim out of pure spite and cruelty because he was the one who brought the Operator to them in the first place despite the fact that Tim openly showed guilt and remorse for causing it and wanted to help everyone. His cruelest attack is mocking him by asking him how it felt to kill Brian who tried to kill him first and was once Tim’s best friend. This is also despite the fact that Alex himself was once a friend of Brian as well yet didn’t show any remorse.
- He tried to kill Jay and Tim in two different events by burning their houses down.
- When Tim reveals to Alex that he doesn’t have to kill everyone and that there is a way better option with the pills which can help block out the Operator’s influence, he completely disregarded the offer and still tries to kill him by attempting to strangle Tim to death which he ultimately failed when Tim stabbed him in the throat. This shows that he ultimately was concerned more about being right and was just an arrogant sociopathic delusional control freak who wanted to validate his own ego.
- He strangled a random guy to death who wanted to see if he was okay and then proceeded to bash his face in with a rock 4 separate times. While he did think it was Jay, this doesn’t change the fact that he still tried to kill someone.
- He is the only character in the Marble Hornets with a definitive direct body count, even more than the Operator since his killings are more indirect.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He did truly love his girlfriend Amy and did miss her after he killed her as he kept a picture of her. Also, even though he tried to kill her twice, in both instances he did feel somewhat remorse for trying to do it.
- He did briefly warn Jay and Tim about the Operator though this doesn’t stop him from continuing to antagonize, torment, and try to kill them.
Trivia[]
- Alex is one of two Marble Hornets Villains (alongside the Operator) to be Near Pure Evil.
- While he is currently Near Pure Evil, his status might change in the future as in the comic book series, it is revealed Alex is assimilated with the rest of the operator victims into Skullface, and wants to work with Jessica to kill the Operator.
