Aldrich is a minor posthumous antagonist in The Seven Deadly Sins. He is responsible for kidnapping and torturing several fairies 500 years ago, causing Helbram to go insane.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Took advantage of Helbram's innocent trust towards humans and pretended to befriend him in order to brutally beat then kidnap him.
- Tortured and imprisoned hundreds of kidnapped fairies then slowly ripped their wings off one-by-one to sell them to the black market while the others were forced to watch as their comrades screamed for help. This ended up causing Helbram permanent trauma and led him to commit a 500-year-long genocidal crusade on all humans.
- Using the scattered corpses of the fairies, he caught King off-guard and stabbed him, causing him to nearly die and lose his memory.
- This indirectly makes responsible for Elaine being trapped with having to guard the Holy Grail for 500 years and falling into a depression as well as having a Red Demon burn the Fairy Forest, killing Elaine and several other fairies since King lost his memory and was unable to protect his home.
- This also led to King becoming hated and punished because he was thought to have abandoned his responsibilities for selfish reasons when that was not the case.
- He has much lower resources than a majority of villains yet manages to stand out for his high body count and personal mass torture.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He is Insufficiently Characterized due to having no speaking lines, however his awful greedy and manipulative personality is described enough by Helbram to prevent him from being a Generic Doomsday Villain.
