Agatu the Fox is a main, later turned secondary antagonist of the Chinese animated TV series Abu the Little Dinosaur, serving as the primary antagonist for most of the series and secondary antagonist of the last few episodes.
He was the evil fox wizard, leader of his evil gang, former apprentice of Master Tai and Abu's archenemy, alonngside the Black Dragon. He started as Master Tai's apprentice, but later betrayed and murdered his former master in order to obtain the six magic spheres in order to use their powers to conquer and rule the world. His evil plans eventually led to his confrontation with Abu and his friends. However, Agatu was secretly manipulated by another more dangerous threat, the Black Dragon.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He started with multiple redeeming qualities, being a kind-hearted young fox, who was apprentice of Master Tai, but eventually he subverted them all and was consumed by lust for power and betrayed his old friend and mentor.
- He betrayed Master Tai and lured the four kings of jungle to steal the spheres from him.
- He took away Master Tai's powers by stealing his magic staff.
- He killed Master Tai with his deadly sphere, when Tai protected and saved Abu.
- He kidnapped multiple animals turned them into his servants.
- He drained the life forces of the forest in order to enhance his magic powers.
- Agatu tried to kill Abu and his friends multiple times.
- He tricked and corrupted the young squirell, who was the friend of Master Tai, into joining and serving him.
- Agatu frequently humiliated and abused his minions, such as Chemao and Chimey multiple times, threatening to kill them if they would fail him.
- Agatu ressurected the evil stone warriors, that once terrorized the forest, and made them serve him.
- When he realized that he was tricked by the Black Dragon, Agatu tried to destroy the Spirit World, saying that if he wouldn't obtain the spheres, no one would.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He showed some remorse for betraying and killing Master Tai in the finale. After being betrayed by Black Dragon and robbed of his powers, he desperately tried to return his spheres and was thrown off the cliff, falling to his death. In his final moments, he told Master Tai that he was coming to him and Agatu's death scene was played for sympathy. However, that's still a minor prevention, since Agatu crossed moral event horizon multiple times and only felt remorse in his final moments.
