Agamemnon is the main antagonist of the 2004 epic historical war drama film Troy, which is loosely based on The IIlad. He is the cruel and tyrannical supreme king of Mycenae.
He was portrayed by Brian Cox, who also played William Stryker in X2, Mr. Kreeg in Trick 'r Treat and Kostas Becker in The Simpsons.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He conquered various parts of Greece through war.
- Despite being the leader of the Greek Army, he has no genuine care for his soldiers and colleagues, especially Achilles.
- Using his powers has the commander of the Greek Army, he attempted to steal Briseis, Achilles's slave and girlfriend, as himself.
- He ordered his soldiers to kidnap and rape Briseis out of pure spite.
- He is responsible for the destruction of Troy, which he took sadistic pleasure of.
- He then captured Briseis during his conquest and threatened her with the intention of raping her every night.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He genuinely cares for his brother, even conducting a funeral for him and promising him to be avenged by destroying Troy.
