Adolf Hitler is the main protagonist of the Oversimplified video "Hitler" and is the main antagonist of its follow-up "WW2." He is a comical interpretation of the real-life Fuhrer of Nazi Germany, and man regarded as most responsible for World War II.

He is voiced by Stuart Webster.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • Even as a child, he was known to be problematic, being caught smoking, stealing from a local orchid, and tormenting one of his teachers based on their political beliefs.
  • His supposed patriotism towards Germany was nothing more than unhealthy fatalism that fueled his hateful agenda.
  • He proudly fought for Germany in World War I.
  • He joined the xenophobic Nazi party and eventually became its leader, with his charisma being a huge reason why so many joined the cause.
  • He attempted a coup to take over Germany, and after his arrest, he would use his trial as a platform to spread his beliefs.
  • He organized a purge of his own S.A. force as a means to getting the German military on his side. In the same purge, he also targeted political rivals, journalists, and even people who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
  • It's implied he may have orchestrated the burning of the German parliament as an excuse to strengthen his grip on power.
  • He violated the Treaty of Versailes, with the most prominent violations being his remilitarization of the Rhineland.
  • He marched his troops into Austria and took it.
  • After agreeing not to take Czechoslovakia after taking the Sudetenland diplomatically, he broke said agreement and invaded the country anyway.
  • He declared war on Poland (making a temporary alliance with Joseph Stalin), starting World War II.
  • He started the Holocaust, an event that would cause the brutal murder of around 4 million Jews in concentration camps.
  • He invaded Denmark and Norway as a means of controlling the supply line.
  • He pushed through the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg, and using Blitzkrieg strategies, he encircled the French and British armies, almost wiping them out while taking over the entire country.
  • He had his army invade Yugoslavia and Greece.
  • He started an offensive against the Soviet Union, making massive encirclement maneuvers around their armies and killing millions in the process.
  • He refused to allow his men to retreat during the winter when many were freezing to death.
  • He declared war on the USA after Pearl Harbor.
  • He tried to encircle the Allied armies in France again, starting the Battle of the Budge, before killing himself in his bunker to escape punishment for his actions.
  • While the Oversimplified videos are comedic takes on history, Hitler is portrayed completely seriously in-universe.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He has a tragic backstory, as his father would force him to work long hours as a child and would abuse him relentlessly. He would then experience the death of his six-year-old brother, Edmund, which was stated to have caused a decline in his mental health. Following this, as a young adult, he spent time in and out of homeless shelters and struggled to make ends meet, which is strongly implied to have been what caused him to develop his hateful ideologies.
  • He deeply loved both his mother and his brother Edmund, both of whose deaths caused him great sadness.
  • He had genuine friendships with his fellow soldiers in World War I, finding purpose there, and he was even shown dragging an injured comrade back to the trenches at one point.
