Abeloth is the overarching antagonist of the Star Wars Legends continuity, serving as the main antagonist of the Fate of the Jedi novels. She is the final villain Luke Skywalker faces before his death.
She is a member of the Ones that turned insane after drinking from the Font of Power and Pool of Knowledge at the same time.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Drank from the Font of Power like the Son did and the Pool of Knowledge like the Daughter did, becoming an powerful dark side entity at the cost of her mind and sanity.
- Enslaved her “children” and forced them to bow before her using her new powers.
- Escaped from her imprisonment to cause galactic wars for the sake of chaos and destruction for hundreds of thousands of years, resulting in not just trillions of deaths but an incalculable amount of people dying. This was a cycle of her escape and reimprisonment by the Ones for hundreds of thousands of years until the Ones death during the Clone Wars. This also isn’t offscreen villainy since we see the effects of this since her death toll is the reason for the creation of Legends most famous superweapon, the Centerpoint Station and others like Sinkhole Station which were built to imprison Abeloth.
- Accepted the sacrifice of an entire species from the Gree during one of her escapes, eating them all.
- Manipulated and brainwashed the Mind Walkers for centuries into join her in Sinkhole Station and her realm, feeding off their life energies to grow in power. It was so bad that the Mind Walkers were practically dead and forced to use the Force to sustain themselves.
- Murdered and ate Luke’s former love interest Callista Ming.
- Caused a dozen Jedi to become psychotic and believe that everyone but them were an imposter.
- Caused tensions between the New Jedi Order and Galactic Alliance as a result of this Jedi psychosis which ultimately led to Luke Skywalker’s arrest and exile with his son.
- Brainwashed and enslaved the sentient Sith Ship to travel to her.
- Trapped a Lost tribe of the Sith strike team on her planet while pretending to be their ally.
- Agreed to let the Sith leave if they agree to capture Luke and Ben Skywalker for her and bring them to her planet.
- Finally escaped from her imprisonment in Sinkhole Station for good, destroying the station and wiping out the Mind Walkers.
- Brainwashed Ben Skywalker’s friend Dyon Stadd and tricked Luke into killing Dyon.
- Stole Luke Skywalker's ship and fled from her planet to begin her reign of terror against the galaxy.
- Murdered and consumed another former lover of Luke's named Akanah Goss Pell, impersonating her.
- Drove the entire Sith strike team allied with the Jedi to insanity with the exception of the leader Taalon and Ben’s love interest Vestara Khai.
- Defeated and incapacitated Luke Skywalker.
- Forcibly corrupted a girl named Fala.
- Murdered and consumed Nell, the leader of a force group called the Theran Listeners.
- Tried to corrupt Luke by assuming the form of his former lover Callista Ming.
- Although she made an alliance with the Lost Tribe of the Sith, it was purely for pragmatic reasons to destroy their mutual enemy, the New Jedi Order.
- Attempted to assassinate the Lost Tribe of the Sith leader Darish Vol.
- Wiped out the Lost Tribe capital of Tahv, killing thousands.
- Brainwashed dozens of Sith, including Vestara’s father Gavar Khai to join her.
- Sent Gavar Khai and 9 other brainwashed Sith to their death by making them distract Luke, Ben, and the non-brainwashed Sith while she escaped.
- Murdered and consumed the popular anti-slavery rebel leader turned Galactic Alliance senator named Jessar Rokari Kem and assumed her identity.
- Killed Darish Vol and beheaded him.
- Threatened to kill the Sith named Ivaar Workan and forced him along with all the other Sith that had infiltrated the Galactic Alliance to assist her.
- Murdered the Galactic Alliance leader Padnel Ovin and made Workan call a emergency vote to make her the new leader of the Galactic Alliance.
- Brainwashed dozens of senators to support her and vote to make her leader.
- Killed billions of people on Coruscant by causing earthquakes to distract the Jedi when they tried to liberate the planet from her
- Kidnapped Ben and Vestara to recreate them into her “son” and “daughter".
- Tried to wipe out the entire universe and remake it into her image..
- Although Luke destroyed her avatar bodies with Darth Krayt, she wasn’t truly dead and would eventually rise again, forcing the Jedi to get the Mortis dagger and prepare for her return.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- She lacks moral agency as drinking from the Font of Power and Pool of Knowledge at the same time was said to have forcibly corrupted and twisted her mind into a dark side entity. That being said she still has a clear sadistic personality and can act good showing she has at the very least a basic understanding of right and wrong.
- She is motivated by loneliness as she was scared the Ones would abandon her since she was aging while they remained immortal and powerful which led her to drink from the Font of Power and Pool of Knowledge to live forever with them. However, this corrupted her, and she ended up enslaving the Son and Daughter which ironically led them to do what she feared, leave her. Even after the Ones died, she still desired companionship as Darish Vol saw when he looked into her mind. She also tried to make Ben Skywalker and Vestara Khai to drink from the Font of Power and Pool of Knowledge to replace her family as the new son and daughter. That being said, her insecurity is pretty minor considering that she ended up enslaving her "family" , killed an incalculable amount of people and planned to wipe out the entire universe even though her family only abandoned her because of her choice to drink from the Font of Power and Pool of Knowledge , which just seems like she's lashing out.
- She's overall somewhat the cause of her own loneliness.
