From Sephiroth, to Hiro, to Jimmy and now Enrico Pucci.

Hell, now people are now thinking to cut off Dawn Bellwether, King Sombra and Johan Liebert (yet another headlined character btw).

That’s actually a tough question, because Mario’s canon is too loose, but if we consider the mainline series only and pretend that the spin-offs don’t exist, then Bowser might actually count. When you really think about it. Most of Bowser's biggest preventions are within those spinoffs. Outside of them, his only 2 preventions are that he's comedic (but less compared to the RPGs) and he cares for Kamek and Bowser Jr. While he may have fewer crimes now, he still tried to take over the universe 3 times, and he is never portrayed as On & Off. While he isn't the same, Ganon has 2 official versions of him being PE (Not counting his Era of the Wilds self) while 1 is on VB. Can't some of the same logic apply to Bowser here?

They can easily cross the baseline by inciting a riot that caused dozens of deaths, but maybe they suffer of insufficient characterization, however, I wouldn't say that's enough to disqualify them from NPE.

So I noticed that Enrico Pucci is no longer on the Near Pure Evil Wiki. From what I've heard from one user, it was because his proposer was untrustworthy and his mitigating factors like his tragic backstory holding up or his extremism are too severe for him to be NPE. That means, he could be Inconsistently Heinous. But what do you all think?

Personally, I'm surprised to see that his crimes are taken eerily seriously, considering the series he is from given the fact that he was the one responsible for the deaths in the series and his methods of tortue being quite unique in the franchise. Despite being taken mostly seriously, there is the fact that he has a few comedic moments such as his dentist appointments, his speech getting constantly interrupted by the real Orange, and his defeat of literally being annoyed to death. But I personally want to hear what you guys think, if he could possibly qualify or not.

I know what you're thinking. "Why a rhythm game villain,?" Well, if you've seen her actions a d behavior, you might agree with me that she could be NPE here. Ubisoft pins her as tragic, but they don't show it in-game. She could rely on Fridge-Horror, but that is the only possible prevention I can think of. It's not a proposal, so if anyone would want to find a way to do that, I'd be fine.

Can the film version of Barty Crouch Jr. be moved to NPE because I feel like he is truly loyal to Voldemort in the movie as well. There's no indication that he isn't. He tried to kill Harry Potter to be honored by Voldemort and the Death Eaters as in the book. Like why is his film version pure evil?

Carol Linneaus: I get that she could likely be PE but I still think she qualifies because she had a comedic defeat and the fact that she fails just a bit to Morag due to resource issues.

Thistleclaw: Seriously, child grooming in a PRETEEN BOOK!??? His prevention is his care for Snowfur. I get that he might be abstained or even rejected since some people don't see Spottedleaf's Heart as canon but still.

Joyce Crandall: Since the first proposer wasn't whitelisted, I'm gonna technically be the one to repropose her. Her preventions are comedy and her care for her plush doll. (I get PEs don't have to not care for inanimate objects according to Villains Wiki but this proves she isn't completely heartless)

Jimmy: Bro got Thanos snapped like two days ago. IK he'd probs get the Gumball on IA Wiki treatment but I'm still not giving up hope for him.

Lio Shirazumi: I'm bouncing him between this wiki and the IH Wiki because on one side, I think his moral agency issues don't affect him much, but on the other, I think his moral agency issues adds up with his two preventions of remorse and being in love to make a character who is too inconsistent for NPE. I'm probably gonna propose for IH first before proposing him on the NPE Wiki.

One (Once TPOT ends): She'd probs qualify for PE after TPOT ends but I personally think she'd get the DuBois treatment (Taken seriously in universe but has a lot of comedic moments) or the PAL treatment (Only approved because she was proposed for IH but everyone agreed that she needed another look)

Removals:

There's no one I really wanna remove, though if I ever get whitelisted on Villains Wiki (which is highly unlikely due to my inactivity there), I'm probs gonna move Haiji up to PE since Monaca SA'ing Nagisa is enough proof that he SA'd her IMO.

Alright I am mkaing this post to clairfy that I think Joe counts for NPE and I have reversed his work for the discussion page.

It's going to take a while to make his proposal since he is the main character of a 50-episode show with at least 40 minutes of runtime at least, so don't expect it to come anytime soon, but I do need to go trough everything since he tends to get a lot of DILP treatment by fans.
